Robert Half Office Manager in Burlingame, California


A highly skilled and motivated Office Manager is wanted by a growing Financial Services company to lead office operations. The ideal candidate would be a serious self-starter looking to expand their career. Submit your resume with Robert Half to be considered for this position.

Note: This role is a firm contract position and only able to offer part time hours within 20-25 hours a week. Our client is also looking for an Office Manager with a preferred background or working experience as a KYC Analyst.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the front desk point of contact at the company's headquarters.

  • Stock office supplies, snacks, coffee etc.

  • Organize and support events at the office; including but not limited to Board meetings, offsites and Happy hours.

  • Assist with turning our alarm system on/off.

  • Monitor parking usage

  • Assist with mail and distribution.

  • Help troubleshoot team/visitor questions and office technology (e.g. conference rooms)

As the KYC Analyst you:

  • Independently manage the KYC review queues.

  • Conduct initial screening of any KYC flags.

  • Research public facing sources and subscription databases to verify client identification.

  • Communicate with the client or internal client-facing teams when additional documentation is required by the client to verify client identification.


  • Friendly, helpful, and proactive

  • Strong communication skills

  • Computer savvy – company utilizes GSuite, Slack, JIRA

  • Interest in compliance, know your client (KYC), and anti-money laundering regulations

  • Prior KYC experience a plus but not required

  • Ability to multitask effectively and leverage organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
