ACV Auctions Manager, Business Development Representative in Buffalo, New York

Who we are looking for:
ACV Auctions is looking to add a BDR Manager to lead our Business Development team! This person will report to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Reps. The primary focus is to drive new customer acquisition for ACV and partner with account management for clean hand-offs that will lead to improved customer retention.
What you will do:
Manage Business Development Reps, be responsible for their performance management and hiring and onboarding of the team members within that department.
Partner with the Account Management function to insure healthy customer retention rates.
Instill a customer retention mindset with the BDR team that begins with customer vetting and qualification.
Maintain and expand customer base by counseling BDR’s in cold calling and delivering the ACV message to new prospective customers.
Lead sales team through communication of performance expectations, providing direct support as needed to sales staff through participation in sit-in’s or related activities, coaching sales staff to enhance their effectiveness, and holding them accountable for results and related KPI’s.
Conduct monthly reviews.
Use Salesforce and other internal resources to effectively manage and document activities & opportunities.
Work cross-functionally with all depts. including Marketing, Operations, Finance and Field Sales
Support team in meeting or exceeding monthly KPIs.
Meet or exceed assigned personal KPIs.
What you will need:
A minimum of three (3) years of proven management experience
4-year degree (preferred)
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Able to operate independently
