Amneal Pharmaceuticals of New York LLC HiLo Operator II in Brookhaven, New York

Description:

Following established policies and procedures, ensure proper and timely flow of all materials and product from arrival until stored as finished goods. Also, providing flow of all in house material and product including re-packaging. This is done primarily by driving a hi-lo or by using a hand jack. HiLo Op II should be able to operate any type of machines for all NY facilities, from pallets jacks to narrow aisle forklifts. The employee should be able to cover all areas of work in all NY facilities from receiving/transferring functions to Packaging/Pharmacy staging operation. HiLo Op II have to be able to process outbound shipments with little or no supervision.


Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for proper operation of the companys forklifts
  • Load and offload trucks. Inspect the trucks and freight for any kind of infestation/leaks. Notify immediately the Supervisor or the designee for any adverse condition;
  • Perform and record daily the pre trip and post trip inspection conform HilO Safety Training;
  • Responsible for disposal of expired/rejected raw material, in process material, finished product and packaging component in the designation cages;
  • Prepare the materials (raw materials, bulk or finished goods) for transfers or shipping to the customers;
  • Maintain 100% cGMP & Compliance during complete operation hours and follow all SOPs including proper usage of Safety and Protective Gears and Dress Code during machine operation and battery watering
  • Prevent Mix up, Cross Contamination during the staging and transfer process;
  • Maintain/clean the machines and report immediately to the Supervisor any malfunctions;
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse

Education:

  • High School or GED - Required

Experience:

  • in 3 or more years HI-Lo Experience, able to use all the machines from existing fleet

Skills:

  • HI-Lo Experience - Intermediate

The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $18.00 to $26.00. Amneal ranges reflect the Companys good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
