Our GEO Non-ITWAA Ops Migration to EGS (GNOME) team is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to augment our Agile Team in support of our Ground System software development team. As a Software Engineer on the GNOME Program you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself, grow your skills, and contribute to our Nation’s most critical missions. We are seeking a dynamic Software Engineer to help support these critical efforts. As a member of a high-performing team you must be passionate about your trade, focused on mission system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. This position involves design, development and maintenance of mainly C/C++ and Java codebase.

- Strong experience in software design and development.
- C++/C programming experience.
- Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment
- Experience developing maintainable code as well as performing unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Must have strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Active secret clearance
- Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
- Mission Data Processing Experience
- Demonstrated understanding of Agile development within a scrum team
- Familiarity with Eclipse, Git, GitLab Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
