As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Technical Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product will support the company's overall strategy and goals.

As a Technical Product Manager for the next generation of Watson Knowledge Studio and NLP customization, you will:
Help define the vision of your product and the future of AI powered search technologies and NLP customization tooling
Work closely with engineering. Apply agile methodology and lead the development team as the main product stakeholder. This includes active leadership in sprint planning, backlog grooming and more...
Collaborate with design and user experience to collect client feedback and prioritize the features that drive the biggest impact
Educate the sales organization about your product. Support them with good documentation and be available to answer technical questions and product related inquiries.
Use a data driven approach to understand the product funnel and coordinate with digital marketing to improve key metrics
Understand the direction of the AI market and contrast your product to competitors
Identify and onboard sponsor customers.
Explore new ways of improving existing services and products as a way of increasing profitability
Identify and present creative and innovative product solutions
Work locations: Chicago, Denver or Pittsburgh
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
At least 5 years working in the software and technology industry
At least 2 years of experience in product management, product marketing or applicable product related fields
At least 2 years working with and presenting technical solutions to clients
Experience working with and leading agile development teams
Technical knowledge of the development stack and artificial intelligence technology
Must be able to evaluate complex technical proposals and have an understanding of technical architecture and concepts
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
At least 2 years working cloud-based software offerings to developers
Experience as a developer and understanding of development processes is preferred
Experience in the search, text analytics, NLP, or knowledge discovery markets
