Who are we looking for?

In this Technical Project Management role, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business’s problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. The position relies heavily on influence rather than authority to drive projects.

You will define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.

You will monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. You will assign and monitor work of systems analysis, program staff, and financial overview, providing technical support and direction.

You will collaborate closely with clients, executive leaders, and product owners to understand our customers and identify the right solutions and products that makes their needs and businesses complete.

You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects.

You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. You must be customer-focused with a passion for providing white-glove service. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to identify seamless solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.

  • Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.

  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation. Experience gathering project specifications and setting deliverables.

  • Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.

  • Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.

  • Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested.

  • Drive other obligations management duties, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, financial management, or similar.

  • 5+ years of experience with hands-on technical project / program manager / implementation of client facing programs; preferably in a related industry.

  • Client facing experience with Oracle Health systems/programs is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management, product design or related experience. Experience using PMP methodologies or PMP certification. Detailed experience with Cerner Millennium and Services and JIRA database knowledge.

Responsibilities

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Responsible for leading quoting teams and creating scope documentation. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Responsible for thorough communication with the Client Data Service leadership team.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 0-5 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
