A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Works in a data center environment with an overarching responsibility of ensuring smooth operation of Medtronic IT systems.

  • Utilizes enterprise monitoring tools to identify issues across multiple technologies.

  • This includes continuously monitoring critical IT systems, data center job completion, equipment, storage devices, printers and other system.

  • Monitors for operator messages, at risk situations or error indicators.

  • Reacts appropriately to resolve, escalate and/or report system issues or malfunctions as required.

  • May perform work incidental to IT system operations such as day-to-day data center tasks, maintaining production records, backup tape management, printer management and distributing output materials.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • System Engineer, Software Engineer or similar.

  • 2 years of experience providing support to internal users in terms of IT procedures.

  • Basic knowledge in IT lenguages for development process.

  • Excel knowledge.

  • Proactive and good customer service skills.

  • Intermediate english.

Nice to Have

  • Fluent english.
