Cigna Financial Analysis Supervisor, Copay Billing Assistance - Accredo in Bloomfield, Connecticut
This position will lead the copay financial analysis team responsible for analysis and interpretation of financial information with full technical responsibility for team output. Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting financial analysis projects or financial reporting. Presents results and recommendations to management. May participate in financial evaluation and modelling of potential investment opportunities. Translates business need into technical specifications for systems matrix partners. Focuses on ensuring short-term outputs and the effectiveness of team integration with other work areas. Provides input into workforce planning and recruitment activities.
Manage team to promote a working team environment and ensure best practices are shared.
Works to develop employee’s skills, evaluates performance and provides feedback.
Oversees resolution of employee relations issues and performance standards, productivity and service standards.
Conducts hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
Responsible for escalated billing issue communications between mail order facilities and the member in a professional and courteous manner as it relates to member collections.
Responsible to identify root cause of member billing issues and enlist Corporate resources to effect process and systems solutions.
Present results to all levels of management.
Responsible for the development, implementation and analysis of billing issue resolution including quality of internal and external communications and root cause solutions.
Establish and perform training of Co-pay Policy and Procedures and A/R systems within Finance and Mail Order Sites.
Assist in the development and implementation of mail order accounts receivable system.
Assist in maintaining accounts receivable control by maintaining days sales outstanding within departmental targets.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2-5 years relevant financial analysis experience
Demonstrated leadership skills; supervisory experience
Experience within insurance billing and collections preferred
Knowledge of Accredo processes and systems preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Proficient using MS Office software
Proven systems skills are required to develop and implement root cause analysis and reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to identify and analyze root cause of issues, enlist corporate resources for resolution and develop/communicate analysis to members and all levels of the Corporation
This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
