MAJOR FUNCTION: The Communications department is the initial contact to callers providing information for the Inspira Organization. Providing a high degree of Customer Service to all callers, while maintaining confidentiality for all patients. Monitor all hospital Alarms panels and contact appropriate department per policy. Monitor all hospital Codes and contacting all essential Code team per Code.
A. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
B. Experience: Prior switchboard or PBX experience preferred. Prior Customer Service skills with a minimum of 2 years’ experience required, preferably in a Health Care environment. Experience working in MS Office.
