Tuva is looking for a candidate with strong systems analysis experience to support our federal government client’s mission critical systems. The analyst will design and configure requirement repositories, provide guidance, develop plans, create automated test cases using Microfocus (HP) Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and integrate it with other agency tools such as JIRA, Cucumber and Git.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide solution redesigning of the existing project setup in ALM to consolidate multiple projects into fewer, streamlined project areas

  • Standardize requirement development to reduce the repetition of common requirements across multiple projects and apply consistent metadata

  • Design and generate cross-project customizations to improve reporting during the software development process

  • Develop baselines, create reports, dashboards and other documentation to view/track metrics, manage requirements and manage test activities

  • Conduct performance tests using automation tools while developing and executing automated test scripts

  • Document business and data requirements, developing functional specifications for systems integration and oversee user acceptance testing

  • Closely align with and support departmental staff to proactively identify improvements to processes

  • Support senior leadership in gathering and defining business requirements to properly design solutions for business user needs

  • Support implemented solutions by creating, monitoring and tuning queries addressing and communicating functional/technical issues

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in a technical field or equivalent)

  • A minimum 7-10 years’ experience in software development and testing with 5 years direct experience with Microfocus ALM

  • Extensve experience with Microfocus (HP) ALM tool

  • Extensive experience analyzing features, writing user stories, test cases and creating dashboards/reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with high level government leaders and diverse technical teams, product owners, and subject matter experts

  • Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder with the ability to obtain and maintain a client specific Public Trust Clearance.
