AirHelp Senior UX Writer m/f/d in Berlin, Germany
Are you an experienced UX Writer looking for something new? Do you love finding the right words to make the complex easy? Do you want to make our customers’ journeys smoother than ever, and help millions of air passengers in the process?
Because we’re looking for someone like that to join our Product Team.
You’ll be working closely with UX Designers and Product Managers to ensure our customers can submit claims and send us documents easily, understand our insurance products and use them regularly, and much more. You’ll be writing short navigational copy, product explanations, and customer emails.
This role falls perfectly in between our Product and Content teams, and you’ll be a vital member of both, helping with smooth communication and keeping our Content consistent at all stages of the customer journey.
What you’ll do:
Write clear, engaging, and action-focused copy.
Build and improve customer journeys together with the UX Design team.
Introduce best practices in UX copywriting.
Be a UX ambassador, educate others, and create shareable UX writing guidelines.
Test and optimize our UX copy.
Ensure consistency across all content touchpoints.
Ensure all languages are up to the same standards.
Document your work.
Advocate a balance between business/technical goals and user needs.

Ideally, you’ll bring with you:
You must have previous experience working as a UX Writer.
We are specifically looking for:
A proven ability to optimize UX Content.
Skill in crafting headlines, navigational, and instructional copy for multiple environments and devices, but particularly mobile.
An ability to turn complex process into simple, fun journeys.
Experience working on UX Content with multiple translations.
An understanding of how localisation impacts design.
An understanding of the nuances of tone, voice, syntax, and structure.
An ability to think holistically about content systems and copy.
Good at working both independently and collaboratively.
Able to manage workload with competing projects and priorities.
Native or near-native level of written and spoken English.
An ambassador for UX best practice, the right candidate will be able to explain their choices of words and educate their colleagues
