Sutter Health OB Technician, Labor and Delivery in Berkeley, California

Position Overview:

Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is San Francisco East Bay's largest private, not-for-profit medical center with a total of 1,082 licensed beds. Performs scrubbing functions for cesarean sections, emergent hysterectomies , post partum tubal ligation, double set-ups, dilation and curettage procedures. This position is accountable for preparing the OR/LDR suites with the required equipment to perform the specific surgical procedures in accordance to the applicable policies, regulations and professional standards practiced at ABMC. Maintains and orders supplies for the LDRs, surgical suites, triage, testing room, and recovery room. Provides and supports the registered nurse in the delivery of patient care in the obstetrical setting.



  • High School Diploma required

  • Two years College preferred
