Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Travel Associate to join our exciting, fast-growing company. The Travel Associate will work closely with all members of the global travel team in support of the global travel program and strategic vision as outlined by the Global Travel Director in support of Palo Alto Networks initiatives; this role reports to the Operations Organization. The Travel Associate will interface and partner cross-functionally with the internal travel team, the Global Travel Director, and Managers. The Travel Associate will also work with key internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Finance, Sales, Safety & Security, Marketing, HR, etc.

The Travel Associate position is responsible for supporting the initiatives to ensure the success of the global Corporate Travel Program and the global travel team. In addition, she/he engages stakeholders and travel partner firms in coordination with the Global Travel Program initiatives.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate with Global Travel Director and Travel Managers on WW Travel Program initiatives.

  • Support corporate travel initiatives within the overall Global Travel program in concert with the Global Travel Managers and Global Travel Director.

  • Provide tactical support during contract negotiations, data analytics, Hotel RFP processes, etc.

  • Communicate Travel Policy and Travel best-practices in a consistent manner

  • Provide tactical support during new country TMC, Concur, and BTA rollouts

  • Coordinate standardized internal and external communications with stakeholders, third-party representatives, etc., under Global Travel Initiatives.

  • Assist with managing internal communication platforms.

  • Review compliance of supplier contract records validating status & record accuracy.

  • Engage travelers to ensure an exceptional traveler experience in each perspective region.

  • Conduct monthly review of supplier invoices as needed.

  • Work with our corporate travel management company as necessary, especially with any service concerns.

Your Experience

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, and 3+ years’ work experience in a Travel Industry related role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.

  • Knowledgeable and basic negotiation skills and understanding of basic commercial terms, ensuring successful partnerships are established with key suppliers.

  • Solid data and reporting skills.
