How you can make an impact:

  • Own and drive strategy development related “how” and “where” our customers purchase cloud-services.

  • Create and own channel and pricing strategies that evolve go to market across partner, field, and customer self-service, including post-transaction product support offers.

  • Enable partner roles and engagement model towards a robust value-added partner ecosystem driving adoption, consumption, deployment, and reach.

  • Develop innovative new business and benefits models that drive adoption and consumption of Microsoft products and services.

  • Assess risk and opportunity, ensure profitability, innovate on today’s processes, and own and drive to key milestones and deliverables.

  • Work with worldwide field and channel teams on pilots, program landing, adoption, and potential partner recruitment.

  • Conduct external and internal research to gain new perspectives and validate ideas.

  • Transform your vision into technical capabilities and build a business case for engineering to prioritize commerce features to bring your ideas to life.

  • Gain deep understanding of unique needs across our cloud businesses and partner across the organization to build future-looking monetization frameworks.

  • Leverage your experience and expertise to partner across business planning to drive execution globally on your vision.

  • Ensure that your vision connects broadly to Microsoft’s vision of customer and partner enablement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, business strategy, business development, cloud sales or other practical or functional experience (e.g., analytics, finance, engineering)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm and passion for collaboration, development, learning and driving results.

  • Experience in developing business strategies through sound business judgement, collaboration, data benchmarking and validation through research and testing.

  • Proven ability to drive results, gather insights and self-start initiatives to enable business goals.

  • A strong track record of working across diverse stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives with passion, precision, and excellence.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must to drive projects and build executive buy-in and support for key projects.

  • Ability to build and drive financial analysis to evaluate opportunities and quantify potential impact, synthesizing data from multiple sources.

  • Understanding and experience working in commercial cloud businesses, either in the industry or at Microsoft.
