We, in Teams Platform, are looking for an experienced Group Engineering Manager to join us and be part of an exciting journey in redefining workplace productivity solutions, by building next generation platform and Store to enable 3P & line of business applications in Teams. As a Group Engineering Manager, you will be leading a team of 25+ engineers that is responsible for App Store, Developer tooling/Experiences and App discovery/acquisition in Teams. You’ll be responsible for the strategy and all the phases of engineering of the services, infrastructure and APIs for developers. As a leader for this team you’ll get to immerse yourself in cutting edge technology with the team and influence the huge business opportunity that lies ahead, for this team.

As a Group Engineering Manager of the team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Drive the strategy,visionand execution for the team in collaboration with wider Office leadership teams comprised of engineering, design and program management leaders.

  • Partner with others both internally and externally to deliver consistent developer experience and solutions from Microsoft.

  • Coach team leaders and engineers within the team.

  • Actively shape and drive a flexible,diverseand inclusive culture where everyone is enabled to be at their best.



  • 10+ years relevant software industry experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing full stack engineering teams, delivering high quality software for customers

  • Experience in building and shipping large-scale distributed services and APIs

  • Experience with modern web technologies like Node.js, Angular, React, Typescript

  • Customer obsession and experience in running live site for large-scale services
