Role Overview:

Our organization owns application support and the delivery of infrastructure services to the Institutional Clients Group at Citi, through our global and diverse team of over 2500 people positioned across over 60 cities and 30 countries.

The ICG Production Management organisation provides business critical application management and support to our ICG clients globally. The Service Delivery organization, through efficient provision and effective use of infrastructure, are uniquely positioned to deliver tangible benefit to ICG. Together, owning our production platform provides a stable environment for our business.

The Service Management team is a small team accountable for having a big impact across ICG PM and SD and beyond. We are responsible for driving Service level improvement initiatives in support of our organisational objectives to support the Institutional Clients Group.

Your role in our team would encompass the following and more:

Working within ICG Production Management and Service Delivery (ICG PM and SD), you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about both operational and non-operational day to day activities across a global application and infrastructure support organisation that directly enables the needs of the Institutional Clients Group

  • Partnership with Support and Infrastructure teams to proactively deepen understanding of our business, technologies and processes to continuously improve ourselves and the service we offer

  • Scope, structure and execute strategic initiatives. Examples include delivering best-in-class solutions and execution around our work effort automation, right placement for work effort, process improvement, machine learning and trend analysis, driving progress and communicating status for ICG and partnering sectors

  • Focus includes our workforce strategy including defining operating practices, learning and development needs and developing the strategic direction of our workforce globally

  • Defining, communicating and executing workforce strategies across global teams and stakeholders

In terms of example expected outcomes:

  • Identify, solve for and drive adoption of solutions to inefficiency, redundancy or ineffective practices

  • Identify areas of improvement in our client’s journey and experience by optimising issue identification and triage

  • Identify common scalable solutions across multiple business areas and applications

  • Define the learning and development strategy for the organisation relating to new technology, skills and operating practices

  • This role, working with the lead, will continue to drive improvements across our organisation to support our teams and improve our service offering to our clients

  • Ability to deliver a professional communications and engagement strategy across multiple regions and target audiences

  • An individual who can run autonomously to implement plans and drive progress, facing off to operations, technology and seniors in partnership with our ICG PM and SD leads

  • Ability to be able to work in partnership with functions outside own responsibility and drive common objectives


  • Extensive experience in an Apps Support environment.

  • Demonstrated social, positive, can-do attitude to quickly learn and take own initiative to deliver creative and productive solutions

  • Ability to communicate well at all levels and network / influence

  • Ability to work under stress & time constraints

  • Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
