Purpose LogixHealth is seeking a Call Center Representative in our Patient Call Center. The person in this role will represent our clients in a professional and courteous manner and provide support and service to our patients via telephone, fax and mail. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Answer a high volume of calls from patients and give a high level of customer service while maintaining a satisfactory response rate according to company standards. 2. Retrieve voice messages from mail box and return patient calls within 24 hours. Research inquiry if needed. 3. Respond to patient requests by telephone, fax or email; review request, provide information requested or determine who can best provide appropriate information and route the request to the proper person 4. Provide patient with their claim balance as requested. 5. Update patient?s insurance information in the system and then re-bill to the new insurance carrier. If requested update patient?s address in the system. 6. Perform daily mailings of letters to patients and HCFA claim forms Required Amount of Experience: Customer Service experience is a must. Prior medical billing experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment as well as flexibility in availability required. Required Skills: One to two years related call center experience preferred; customer service experience required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Prior MS Office experience, including proficiency with Excel and Word, data entry, demonstrated ability to use the appropriate data collection software, and internet software experience required.
