A local company that designs and manufactures industrial landscape equipment for the contractor sector market is looking for an Engineering Technician/Electrical Panel Builder.

Description:

-Utilize engineering methods to automate processes and infrastructure.

-Integration of robotics into the manufacturing process.

-Can convert a run list to a schematic. Set-Up, document, and troubleshoot a panel layout.

-Oversee automation improvements and commissioning throughout the facility including weld, paint, and assembly operations.

-Ability to develop feedback systems to communicate equipment utilization and diagnostics in real time.

-Provide new insights and form new opinions.

-25-50% Travel to Customer sites

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelors or Associates Degree considered in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Control Systems) or a closely related technical field.

-2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in robotics and control system support.

-Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Software control systems and FANUC robotics experience preferred.

-Data collection and monitoring software experience.

-Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision and accuracy

-Electromechanical technical background and an understanding of machine design.

-Ability to apply analytical skills yielding creative results

-Proven understanding of machine communication protocols (ethernetIP, Devicenet, etc)
