Thermal Solution company in Batavia is looking for a 1st Shift CNC Machinist to help with setups and production. This company specializes in the design and manufacturing of aluminum cast heated parts. Heavily focused on quality and rapid product development through precise machining and new development.

Description:

• Operate CNC machines, including horizontal and vertical mills and lathes. Familiar with a wide

• range of production operations

• Read and interpret complex prints, draw sketches, make recommendations for correcting prints

• Select appropriate feeds and speeds, set up job according to prints and set-up procedures, and

• pull/adjust fixtures

• Participate in improvement in production, service, quality, and safety

• Work closely with many departments at one time to complete product

• Ensure that quality performance meets or exceeds customer expectations

• Ensure that all communication channels are used to quickly and accurate share information

• Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions, complete documentation appropriate to job, determine

• whether tooling/fixtures are available or find approved substitutes

• Perform in-process inspection

• Have the flexibility to work in other departments as cross trained and required

• Be safety conscious
