Position Title: Homecare formulation development Support Manager SEA

Organization: Research and Development (R&D)

Department: Homecare R&D Formulation Development SEA

Work Location: Minburi factory (Latkrabang Industrial Estate)

Main responsibilities

• Able to translate consumer and business needs to generate ideas for new projects, lead the projects and land the innovation to solve consumer pain-points.

• Able to work with marketing team to craft HC innovation strategy, give directions based on R&D expertise for future innovations.

• Develop and lead innovation program as Technical Project Lead and be able to work and lead in a technical scoping across functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Global team, Finance etc.

• As Technical Project Leader, has a good understanding of the overall project scope and how it supports HC business and/or SEA markets.

• Lead HC R&D cross functional team on product development for OTIF delivery of New Product Innovations, Compliance and Cost Savings Program. Homecare formulation should meet a product concept as aligned with Marketing & key project stakeholder, meet target gross margin and meeting business target and all technical elements (physical properties, sensory, cost and processability).

• Be HC SEA representing R&D in network meetings for both local and global teams meeting.

• Responsible for on time delivery of new product Innovations, sustainability, compliance and cost savings Program.

• Plan and conduct a lab validation, preparation of product samples, and stability test as required to land projects in various stage of product development to meet the requirement of differing test objectives.

Skills and competencies

• Graduate preferably with Bachelor/ master’s degree in science with chemistry background or equivalent experience in capability field.

• 3-5 years of experience in FMCG R&D, product development would be a plus.

• Demonstrated collaboration, organizational & influencing skills

• Good oral and written communication skills, and solid presentation skills are required.

• Demonstrates natural curiosity for consumer and shopper, competitor actions. Brings insights into project team and takes actions on them. Challenges stakeholders decisions in light with consumer/shopper/competitor knowledge

• Practical experience in Laboratory environments or Factory Processing is desirable.

• Excellent team working skills and be able to work under pressure/complexity.

• Has a good knowledge of IT and exploit IT tools effectively, manage Data, Information & Knowledge effectively. Transform data into insight / actions.

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent team working skills and be able to work under pressure/complexity.
