Ascension Saint Agnes is looking for a non-surgical Advanced Practice Provider for our Breast Center.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Saint Agnes to provide medical services to patients in our outpatient Breast Center.
Work alongside experienced breast surgeons with nurse navigator support
Be a part of an interdisciplinary team that includes primary care, women's health, plastic surgery, oncology, imaging, gastroenterology and more
Facilitate high-risk genetic testing program
Provide care for all types of breast issues, from benign to malignant
Obtain patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination.
Orders, perform and interprets diagnostic studies.
Performs pre-surgical and post-surgical care.
Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions and assists with the set-up of at-home care and community resources.
Documents delivery of health care and processes in accordance with specific standards of care.
Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health and treatment options.
Collaborates with other departments including primary care, women's health, oncology, gastroenterology, imaging, plastic surgeons and breast surgeons.

• Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
Experience in women's health or breast health is preferred but will train the right candidate.
