Your Role and Responsibilities

Preferred Location: RTP, North Carolina

The US Talent Acquisition Operations team is responsible for providing overall guidance, support, and compliance to all processes and programs associated with hiring new employees into IBM. If you are a process driven individual with experience in a fast paced, large recruiting organization, this could be a great opportunity for you.

As the Talent Acquisition Operations Lead and Program Manager, you will report to the Sr Talent Acquisition Manager, US Operations and Process Excellence and support Talent Acquisition for US-based hires.

In this role, day-to-day activities may include the following:

  • Support Talent Acquisition organization, providing daily direction and counsel on hiring activities

  • Provide advice and counsel to Talent Acquisition Partners, Talent Acquisition Coordinators, Hiring Managers, HR Partners, and Hiring Focal Points as needed on all aspects of hiring at IBM

  • Act as Program Manager/ Subject Matter Expert on various programs interfacing with Recruitment

  • Ensure compliance with established program guidelines

Ongoing responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop process improvements for delivery efficiency and transformation

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Delivery to help maintain a positive compliance posture

  • Identify areas of focus for re-education and training for Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

To be successful in this role, you'll need knowledge of IBM recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes. You will also be able to assist with and lead efforts in the following areas: training of Talent Acquisition staff, candidate management reporting and analysis, defining & assisting in strategy development, participating in client meetings, and leading multiple Talent Acquisition operations projects simultaneously.

Advanced Excel skills are required.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Knowledge of business controls and Corporate audit is also helpful.
