Facilitate Restorative Justice Processes:Guide participants through structured conversations to promote understanding, accountability, and healingUtilize relevant theory, literature, research, best practices, and approaches in the areas of Restorative practices, trauma-informed and trauma-healing practices, and community building to facilitate Restorative circles, educational coaching, and other dialogue-based processes to mitigate or address conflicts and harm within the University community. Candidates must be able to support participants across the three tiers of Restorative engagement: community building, addressing harm, and reintegrationProgram and Case Management:Provides direct comprehensive case management services to participants using Restorative practices and knowledge of relevant institutional policies and proceduresAdvises members of the University community on the centers Restorative processesReceive and assess case referrals based on risk and suitability for Restorative engagementFacilitate intake meetings, processes, and assist in the drafting of resolution agreementsDevelop and implement evaluation and assessment tools to measure the efficacy of the programs, analyze results, and make changes to programmatic implementationParticipate in and contribute to regular information sharing / consultation meetings with team members, University compliance resources, including Title IX, and other University staff, paying close attention to policy mandates and sensitive informationApplicants must be able to uphold University policy and applicable state and federal laws when engaging in a Restorative processEducation and Training:Develop and deliver tailored training sessions on Restorative Justice principles and practices for students, faculty, and staffCollaborate with campus units to integrate Restorative Justice into existing programsAssist graduate student staff, interns, practicum students, and/or volunteersStrategize, project manage, and conduct Restorative Justice educational contentConduct needs assessments with clients, manage training proposals/contracts/invoices and other logisticsCommunicate with cross-functional stakeholders across the Division and University to coordinate collaborations and maintain strong relationshipsOutline, create, and publish informational resources on topics across the three tiers of Restorative JusticeConduct informational interviews with prospective and past participants, Restorative Justice practitioners, etc., to gain a strong understanding of needsCommunity Outreach:Build and maintain positive relationships with various campus and external stakeholdersActively engage in outreach efforts to promote awareness of Restorative Justice principles and servicesCollaboration:Develops and maintains strong University partnerships, including staff, students, and facultyWork closely with campus partners, including counseling services, student affairs, and academic departments, to bring awareness about available resources and provide comprehensive support for individuals involved in Restorative Justice processes, including facilitation, and developing strategic educational programs and workshopsAssessment and Growth:Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in Restorative JusticeEvaluate the effectiveness of Restorative Justice programs and recommend improvements as needed
