IBM Product Security & Compliance Developer - ServiceNow in Austin, Texas

Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you enjoy creating high-impact applications that significantly improve how users get their work done? Are you excited about building and rolling-out new services built on the ServiceNow platform? How does joining a fast-paced team focused on product security (including PSIRT) and regulatory compliance sound? The IBM Product Security & Compliance Development (PSCD) Team is seeking an individual who's passionate about these activities in order to create top-tier applications that will serve teams across multiple IBM Business Units.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate with PSCD Leadership and key stakeholders to implement deliverables supporting the Enterprise & Technology Security organization

  • Apply proper security & data privacy measures to protect IBM's data

  • Contribute to architectural, design, test, and support discussions

  • Be a key member of a ServiceNow development team delivering features using script includes, business rules, workflows, ACLs, and other core platform elements

  • Integrate with secure & highly available back-end systems using REST APIs

  • Grow and adapt to current technology and design standards to create modern, effective, and efficient systems

  • Work in an Agile team environment

  • Apply IBM Enterprise Design Thinking practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Core ServiceNow development (views, scripts, workflows, ACLs, update sets, etc.) (4 years)

  • Service integration with back-end systems via REST APIs (3 years)

  • Agile development (5 years)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for various audiences

  • Able to collaborate across teams and Business Units

  • Continuous Integration, Deployment, and Test

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • General ServiceNow Development (Views, scripts, workflows, ACLs, update sets) (6 years)

  • Service Portal (2+ years)

  • ServiceNow MID Servers (2+ years)

  • Regulatory and/or internal compliance (GPA/GDPR, ITSS, etc.)

  • IBM Enterprise Design Thinking (1 year)

  • Security & Privacy by Design (SPbD) principles

Must be located in or willing to relocate to New York, NY or RTP, NC or Washington, DC or Austin, TX or Herndon, VA
