Jungle Scout Product Marketing Manager in Austin, Texas

We?re growing fast and we are looking to add a Product Marketing Manager to our Austin office! As the company?s first product marketer this is your opportunity to serve a critical role on our Marketing team by successfully positioning our product in the market, driving growth in our subscriber base, and gaining a better understanding of our customer.

What you?ll do:

  • Own messaging strategy and documentation of product details for use by marketing team

  • Create and distribute materials which communicate the product?s value to the market; articulate the features, benefits, and use cases all stakeholders can share and reference

  • Plan earned content strategy to align with product roadmap

  • Develop awareness and demand materials for stakeholders including documentation around: personas, competitive differentiation (?battle cards?), product features/branding, etc.

  • Become a product expert and ensure product value communicated across all marketing materials

  • Partner with product management team to understand the feature and release details and their expected impact on customers

  • Serve as product representative for marketing team

  • Become customer expert and ensure customer advocacy across all marketing materials

  • Ensure customer needs communicated to product team; ensure product reaches the customers and serves their needs

  • Build and iterate on customer personas & map their experiences

  • Conduct UI/UX research and testing; field and analyze customer surveys

  • Design and own customer testimonial program (with many stakeholders)

  • Become market expert and ensure marketplace awareness across all marketing materials

  • Conduct market research, including across Amazon, competitors, influencers, and global ecommerce scene

  • Analyze the competitive landscape and identify trends in the market

  • Digital native with a strong understanding of key marketing channels

  • Self-motivated and organized


  • Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technology and/or marketing

  • Experience working in B2B and/or B2C SaaS companies


  • Experience selling online (eCommerce, eBay, Amazon)

  • UI/UX research

  • Web and product copywriting

  • SEO
