KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist in Deal Advisory and Strategy Analytics for our Deal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
Establish data quality controls for the DA&S Analytics platforms and solutions for data generated by internal systems and acquired as third-party data sources
Lead Metadata and Catalog Management; establish, manage and curate data inventory/catalog for KPIs with relevant metadata
Establish and maintain a Master Data Management process in conjunction with product and systems owners to establish consistent entity and naming practices
Work closely with Alternative Data team to support quality control checks of third-party data during the acquisition process
Establish and maintain automated data quality and consistency controls for data maintained by DA&S Analytics
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience in data management with an emphasis on data quality or data governance experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Working knowledge of data modeling concepts, including normal forms, dimensional data modeling, and working with unstructured data modeling designs; experience with metadata and data catalog experience, including master data management
Experience working with both on-premise and cloud solution with preference for familiarity with Microsoft/Azure solutions
Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop centralized documentation
Demonstrated ability to work across a broad set of technical disciplines and conduct in-depth research and communication to develop data standards
