Warehouse Associate, Animal Health (00001XMG)Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials andproducts in warehouses with varying degrees of automation according toestablished standards. Performs in accordance with established safetystandards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations andproceduresThis position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requiresand is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and propercompliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.General areas of responsibility include receiving, picking customerorders, returns, shipping and inventory organization, managementand control. Performs one or more of a combination of these tasks.Verifies merchandise received against record of shipment, inspects andreports discrepancies and any obvious defects.Stocks shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated areas.May use a radio-frequency (RF) device to aid in picking stock.Assembles customer orders from stock by pulling items from shelves andplacing them in totes to be packed and shipped. Identifies quantities andcustomer specifications.Enters orders, returns and related data in the computer system.Inspects returned items and returns merchandise to proper shelf in thewarehouse.Accurately completes daily inventory counts and researches discrepancies.Assists with inventory procedures as requested.Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules andDEA regulations.Performs related duties as assigned.QualificationsRequires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree(GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Requires lessthan one (1) year of equivalent work experience.Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and readproduct descriptions, names and shelf labels.Must possess basic mathematical skills.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintaincooperative working relationships with others.Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented.Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains cleanand to help prevent work related injuries.Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.Basic computer knowledge preferred.Organization: Acquisition - MWIEqual Opportunity Employer/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
