Maine Veterans’ Home is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization, committed to exceptional service and personalized care. We are hiring for our new state-of-the-art facility, opening soon. MVH - Augusta will be the first of its kind in Maine to deliver long-term care though the small house model. This model is organized around the idea of intentional community, offering residents a way to maximize normal living environments and routines, providing a sense of community and better quality of life. The campus will consist of 3 villages, with four "houses" per village, and each house will accommodate 10-12 residents.
These positions are 40-hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. Ability to work varied shifts, ranging from early morning to mid-evening is required.

A Nutrition Partner will be assigned to each house and is responsible for preparation of food served in the house, and assisting with the therapeutic nutritional needs of the residents. This position will work with the residents to develop the household menus and special food orders. Each household will always have various food items on hand that the residents may choose in lieu of the menu items.
