Stryker Operations Manager - NZ in Auckland, United States

As an Operations Manager you will partner with a high performing team and broader business to deliver product availability and exceptional outcomes for internal and external customers whilst supporting profitable growth.


  • People – Build a high performing DC & kit assembly teams through regular feedback, coaching and development

  • Cost – Manage direct and indirect operating costs

  • Collaboration –Take responsibility as a leader within the Operations group for the New Zealand business

  • Service – Oversee and support processing of all DC functions, loan kit orders and operational tasks to ensure customers receive the correct products on time

  • Quality – Support compliance to documented procedures, implement preventative measures to avoid the reoccurrence of raised CAPA’s, NC’s and Errors through the quality management system by performing root cause analysis

  • Continuous Improvement – develop, plan and execute continuous improvement projects

Critical Requirements

  • Previous experience in distribution, warehousing or operations

  • Involvement in a high volume product line environment

  • Quality management techniques in particular ISO environment

  • Experience in supervising a team of professionals and operating effectively as part of a team with accountability for business results

  • Computer skills on purchasing and warehouse modules of JD Edwards and basic Microsoft office functions

  • Good communications skills to deal with staff, internal and external customers and suppliers

  • Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks to high level of accuracy

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and work under pressure to meet client deadlines
