Client Solutions Director Details:
Sales Executives will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization. In this role, you will demonstrate the following:
Provide strategic direction and implement a high quality vision. Design and implement company sales strategies, working to ensure profitability and continued revenue growth. Ensure collaboration with internal business partners. Stay current on company-wide and industry standard methodologies/trends in learning solutions. Builds an effective team of leaders by providing mentorship and coaching. Actively address challenges in the internal and external environment to protect business interests. Performs other related duties as assigned.
The exponential growth of ecommerce coupled with increasing end customer demand for rapid delivery and an evolving regulatory environment present both an opportunity and challenge for logistics and other commercial companies, who currently don’t have optimal solutions that meet their needs. With this in mind, GM has established a new independent business unit for eDelivery & Mobility Solutions that provides an innovative approach to enable the efficient, multimodal movement of goods through an integrated product suite.
In order to meet business objectives, we are looking for a seasoned Client Solutions Director to develop and execute a full sales strategy towards the achievement of profitability and growth for the entire product portfolio. Develop and implement a solutions sales strategy plan that drives revenue growth and meets or exceeds business targets
Establish annual and quarterly sales targets and compensation plan
Develop pricing and monetization strategies that meet customer needs and drive profitability targets
Design sales processes and organization structure to support rapid growth
Oversee customer acquisition and account management, monitor and manage sales pipeline and track progress
Oversee client vehicle orders to ensure timely and quality delivery
Ensure accurate forecasting of revenue and sales expenses
Fully utilize CRM system to maximize sales efforts
Recruit, mentor and motivate a world-class sales team capable of growing with the business
Collaborate cross functionally to share insights and ensure the “voice of the customer” is reflected in marketing, product, operational and financial decisions
Attend and actively participate in industry meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments as appropriate
Continually assesses the need for organizational change and champions change initiatives while removing the obstacles that inhibit organizational growth.
Works closely with teammates to support the achievement of the objectives that are critical to the success of the other functional areas within the business.
As a leader, is constantly and consistently assessing opportunities for organizational successes across all areas of the organization and communicating with teammates when those opportunities become apparent
10+ years of commercial sales and account management experience, preferably with Supply Chain & Logistics, Fleet Management Companies and/or industrial goods
Proven track record successfully leading a sales organization, implementing a growth sales strategy and meeting aggressive sale targets
Building relationships internally and externally, with colleagues and clients, including at C-suite level
Providing input into product development based on customer insights and market dynamics
Experience in solution selling with various pricing models
Bachelor’s degree mandatory, Master’s degree a plus
Travel required. Must be able to travel extensively
Leading, motivating and growing teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, rapidly evolving industry and organization; comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to work independently with little direction
Familiar with advanced automotive technology
