THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD AND WILL BE LOCATED IN CRYSTAL CITY – ARLINGTON, VA

S&K Engineering & Research, LLC (SKER), a member of the S&K Family of Companies and owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, is actively seeking a Program Manager to join our team. The Program Manager serves as the Contractor's primary program manager and shall be the contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the contract level Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), government management personnel and customer agency representatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Shall work closely with the contract government Program Manager to ensure all contractual and programmatic milestones and requirements are meeting contractual obligations. • This position is concerned with advising and assisting in directing, developing, or performing program management functions that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the actions required to support the ISCD Support contract and all associated program requirements. • Act as program manager and provide status, reports and deliverables as needed and directed by the ISCD Support PWS. • Provide oversight of and verify hours worked by all personnel, taking into account flexible schedules, breaks, leave, telework, and off-site meetings. • Provide support and data as requested for administrative purposes and in support the Quality Management System. • Provide supervision, tasking, and training to direct reports. • This job will have direct supervisory responsibilities. This person will directly manage employees, review, and sign timecards, provide yearly progress assessments, and provide training career paths. • This person will be a group lead with the responsibility to assign and monitor staff to ensure employees in functional area follow established procedures, generate finished work products on time, and ensure the quality of work produced. • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 15 years of work experience in progressively challenging technical and management positions, including successfully managing a contract dealing with employee performance, forecasting/variance reporting and contract financial reporting.

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Current drivers’ license, proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the US and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance enabling access to various Government facilities.

Special knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must possess an excellent understanding of management issues, ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively, and the ability to work within U.S. Government contractual realm. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Excellent telephone skills. • To perform this job successfully, an individual will have knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
