Lockheed Martin Classified Cyber Security Rep / ISSO / AFSO / Archbald, PA / Secret in Archbald, Pennsylvania

Description: Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking a Security Representative to join the team in Archbald, PA. The Archbald facility provides design, manufacturing, engineering, and field service and support to its domestic and international customers.

In this role, the selected candidate will perform duties as the alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) and alternate Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for multiple programs. The selected candidate will assist the FSO in operational and compliance management and will function as a technical liaison in support of the security standards and requirements relevant to the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). The selected candidate will be expected to apply his/her understanding of the NIST SP800-53 Security and Privacy Controls in Federal Information Systems and Organizations, and the 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

Candidate will be responsible for effectively interfacing with numerous cognizant security agencies and customers while taking direction from more senior analysts and management. The candidate will be responsible for promoting daily contact with program management, engineering staff, and other security and program personnel to resolve technical and facility security related issues.

Candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, speaking in front of large groups of people, and utilizing excellent organization skills in order to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.

Lockheed Martin’s Archbald facility is a full-service Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) mission area that provides design, manufacturing, engineering, and field service and support to its domestic and international customers. The site supports two product lines: Precision Guided Systems (PGS) and Nuclear Systems. The PGS line of business designs and manufactures air-to-ground weapon and training systems for the US Military and international allied customers. It supports two primary sets of customers in our Nuclear Systems line of business. On the military side, it has provided safety-critical nuclear instrumentation and controls (I&C) systems for naval submarines and aircraft carriers for over 60 years; on the commercial side, it designs and manufactures I&C products for the commercial nuclear power industry.

Archbald is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is part of Lackawanna County in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. If you can't find what you are looking for in Archbald, you'll likely find it in Scranton. The city of Scranton hosts five colleges and universities: Lackawanna College, Marywood University, The University of Scranton, Johnson College, and The Commonwealth Medical College and one technical school, Fortis Institute. Where can you get to from Archbald? Philadelphia is 2.5 hours to the south, and NYC is two hours to the southeast. Binghamton, NY is an hour north of Archbald. The Pocono Mountains and Lake Wallenpaupack are nearby.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education, with two or more years of related professional experience

-Experience working with classified information systems

-Must possess and maintain DoD 8570 requirements, including at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, Network+, or Security+ OR must be able to obtain within 180 days of start date

-Must have a Final Secret security clearance in order to start work

Desired Skills:

-Experience with Security Directives, Policies, Publications and Regulations

-Security clearance background investigation performed in the last 6 years

-Experience with NISPOM and RMF

-Current classified cyber security experience as an ISSO

-Experience with Splunk, Nessus and other similar cyber security tools

-Knowledge of government/contractor network inter-connectivity

-Experience writing DD254s and classified document control

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
