Orpine Inc Sr. Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia
Design, propose, implement and deploy software solutions and energy management systems based on various products and technologies to meet customer requirements.
Develop technical documents and conduct customer training.
Create and maintain software development environments using different Red hat Linux operation systems using different version control tools for software development.
Support existing MQ based integration platforms and services.
Maintain expert level knowledge of software platforms and applications.
Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical audiences.
Deliver new solutions, by being involved in and driving the IBM MQ components of the integration solutions for new business initiatives.
Work with customers directly to gather technical requirements.
Debug complex networking features on Windows desktop application.
Provide advanced engineering and software development primarily on a Linux platform.
Participate in product planning and technology evaluation.
Position Requirements: Bachelors degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field plus five years of progressive work experience in any position/title providing experience with WebSphere MQ on Linux, Aix, Windows and z/OS operating systems.
