Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary under direction of experienced analysts. Competent to consider most business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. A basic working knowledge of accounting concepts is recommended. May report to the Business Operations Management in the Information Services department.Minimum Requirements: B.S. in business administration, finance, accounting or closely related field, commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of degree.Work requires professional demeanor, appearance and attitude with an orientation toward meeting customer requirements in a friendly, courteous manner. Must function cooperatively as part of the IS Business Operations Team and exhibit flexibility in response to changing demands and priorities. Work requires good written and oral communication skills with a need for communications to be complete, concise and understandable. Work requires self-motivation to independently initiate and complete work as appropriate. Analytical and problem solving skills required for independent resolution of technically challenging and process issues and problems. Work requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Applications, personal computers operated in a Windows environment and ability to use various mainframe and PC-based software applications.
