A day in the life of a Sprinkler Service Technician can look like this:
Performing routine inspection, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment
Conducting flow tests, fire pump tests, hydrostatic tests, main drain tests, trip test dry valves, and test hydrants
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
2-3 years of related experience
Regular and Timely Attendance
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break
Position requires bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing
Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests
