Honeywell Industrial Engineer III / Project Manger III in Albuquerque, New Mexico

In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. This position will be in Kansas City, MO


In Test Engineering, we Design, Fabricate, Prove-In, and Qualify the Test Systems that will test the non-nuclear components of nuclear weapons that we manufacture here at Honeywell FM&T.

In this position you would be a Control Account Manager (CAM), which is also known as a Project Manager or a Project Engineer. As a CAM, we manage the Scope, Schedule, and Budget for the Test System Projects. We are responsible for milestones, deliverables, and risks associated with the Projects. We also provide many levels of reporting and present Project status to a range of audiences. You Must Have:

  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Software, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial) or directly related technical field (e.g., Physics) from an ABET-accredited institution

  • US citizenship and must have or have the ability to obtain DOE security clearance.

  • Minimum of 4 years engineering experience

    We Value:

  • Project management experience preferred

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

  • Experience presenting to internal and external customers

  • Experience managing multiple projects

  • Primavera P6 or MS Project experience

  • Experience with Earned Value Management
