The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.

Responsibilities

We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening. We do not have assurance at this time that the position will be opened and when. This position is contingent upon contract award. An Active Secret clearance is required

  • Interface with government personnel

  • Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards

  • Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates

  • Support organization in tracking important milestones or actions

  • Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications

Qualifications

  • Ability to organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.

  • Ability to draft, write and edit reports, briefs, correspondence and other documents

  • Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, strong organizational skills Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • A minimum of three (3) years of Action Officer experience is required

  • Substitutions: Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for the BS degree

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and possess and be able to maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance, as a qualification and condition for employment.
