Our location in Abbott Park, IL currently has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant III – Legal Litigation. The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative and project support to Litigation attorneys and paralegals as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL DO
All administrative functions of the department, such as: answering phones, calendar management, scheduling travel, processing expense reports, meeting/event planning, creating or modifying business documents and correspondence
Uses intermediate to advanced software skills to perform work assigned
Uses and understands Microsoft Office Suite and other business-specific software, such as: corporate travel/expense reporting, document management, matter management/electronic billing and employee performance management systems (as applicable)
Coordinates new employee office set-ups and onboarding
May train/coordinate work for new administrative assistants
Coordinates and maintains departmental files
Assists department with projects and drafting basic communications
Participates in division-wide projects
Frequently interacts with high-level executives
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of business processes and requirements
Frequently handles confidential or business-sensitive information
Maintains and manage calendars, including meeting and travel scheduling and domestic/international travel arrangements
Proactively identifies and resolves scheduling conflicts
Point of contact for team schedules
Frequently multi-tasks and prioritized workload
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years previous admin experience
Operates with general instruction and some supervision
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
