Job Description

Project management of customer projects
Documentation of projects from initial, planning, execution, closure (APQP)
Responsible for customer PPAP approval process
Direct customer communication for technical subjects
Consulting in application technology of our products for commercial vehicle manufacturer¬
Development of design variants and combination of existing products to meet customer requirements for suspension systems (e.g. bellow, air spring systems)
Preparation of technical proposals (to be approved by senior engineer)
Clarify test requirement and standards of AS and other rubber metal parts
Communicate/coordinate activities related with independent test lab if applicable
Definition, care and evaluation of product tests
Support of QA and production concerning quality issues in product application
Close communication and interaction with project or product leader(s)-local & global

Job Requirements

BSC / MSC in mechanical engineering or similar with 35 years working experience as application engineer or product development position.
Familiar with IATF standard, e.g. APQP / PPAP procedure
Project management experience of 12 years for OEM customer
Knowledge in rubber technology, e.g. rubber vulcanization
Basic Knowledge in mechanical technology ，e.g. GD&T , metal parts , plastic parts
Basic knowledge in pneumatic technology and principle
Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
English (min. advanced)
German is plus
Team work , open mind , ownership, good logical thinking
